The Orange Furnace

Wildfire,

Setting sun,

Something in common?

The warmth,

The beauty,

The package deal 

Of devastation 

It brings.

Those who believe 

Won’t survive the night

Or those who think

Their destiny is fulfilled,

How wrong can one be

As they realise

When at the jaws of death

Life was not lived.
